What a car valet actually includes
A car valet is a complete clean and condition of your vehicle, inside and out. In New Zealand most people use “valet”, “grooming”, and “detailing” to mean the same thing, a professional clean that goes well beyond a quick run through a drive-through wash. At Turbo & Shine we offer five valet levels so you only pay for the depth of clean your car actually needs.
A full valet covers the lot: a high pressure exterior wash, wheels and tyres, a full interior vacuum, seats and mats shampooed, inside and outside glass, door jambs, and a final dressing so the cabin smells fresh. Step up the levels and you add engine bay cleaning, wax protection, steam cleaning, and pet hair removal.
Picking the right valet level
For a regular freshen-up, the Quick Top Wash from $35 is the call. Fifteen minutes, exterior cleaned, dashboard wiped, ready to go. If it is the inside that needs the love, the Interior Groom from $100 is a dedicated interior valet that comes in three tiers.
Most customers book the Full Grooming valet from $150. It is the true inside-and-out reset, the package we recommend for cars more than a year old. For pre-sale prep or a car you genuinely love, Ultimate Detailing from $250 brings steam cleaning, upholstery shampoo, and ceramic shampoo into the mix.
Every valet uses the same eco-friendly products and the same professional standards. The difference between the levels is depth and time, not quality. Prices scale by vehicle size, so a hatchback pays less than a van or campervan.
